Come join us for.
“Let’s talk employment”

During this session, you will hear 3 local panelist and 2 employers
discussing:
Tips for effective interviewing, resume writing and ways to be successful on
or off the job.  Our panelist will discuss their experiences working in the
community and will share the tools that have made them successful.  The
employers will give perspectives on hiring individuals with disabilities.
There will be some resources available or if you need something specific,
please let group leaders or panelist know and we will help you.

We will also demonstrate interactive mock interviews.  If you want feedback
on dressing for success, get your resume and put your best foot forward.

iPhone basics.  Whether you’re a beginner or advanced, there is something
for you! Come learn about gestures, apps, settings, pod casts, and so much
more. For more information, please call Caroline (701) 630-1827 or email
caroline@kittytech.org. As a respect to others, we ask that you bring
headphones to reduce noise distraction. Also, if you plan on attending, it
would be helpful if you let one of the leaders know so we may accommodate
for space.

FM Walk this way
After 12 years, FM walk this way is reevaluating and will not be offered
this year.  This doesn’t mean you can’t get out and walk.  The below link

CCLVI To Award 3 Video Magnifiers

The Council of Citizens with Low Vision International (CCLVI) announces the
Dr. Sam Genensky Video Magnifier Memorial Awards.  A total of 3 video
magnifiers will be awarded to children and adults.

To read the award guidelines and complete an online application, go to
www.cclvi.org/dr-samuel-genensky. Applications may be submitted through
April 20, 2016 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern.
