NDAB Special Board Meeting Minutes
December 13, 2020
The meeting was called to order by Zelda at 8:00 p.m. Roll call was taken. Board members that were present were Trampes, Zelda, Shereen, Mark, Allan, Rebecca, Gretchen, and Ali. Absent was Mickey. Other members that were present were Mary Stip, Helen Baumgartner, Doug Puetz, Missy Miller, Bob Moore, Carol Marshall, Michelle Zentz and Doug Stip.

Discussion was held among the attendees about whether to have the state convention in person or remotely. All guests and board members in attendance were given an opportunity to offer comment of whether they felt that the 2021NDAB Convention should be held in person or virtually. One concern that was brought up was whether you needed to have a cell phone to take part in the convention. The answer was no, you can use a landline if you do not have a cell phone, computer, or other smart device. It was also stated that we will be able to vote as well as have the business part of our meeting including election with nominations from the floor. Zelda would like to set a committee to do the planning with volunteers from all over the state since there is not a single city hosting this year. Allan made a motion to have the 2021 state convention via Zoom. Shereen seconded the motion. Discussion was held. The board voted and the motion passed 7 yes 0 no. Guests were thanked for their concerns and advisement.

The board met on one other matter. Rebecca informed the board that the Bremer Bank CD matures January 4th, 2021 and that interest is exceptionally low. Highest interest at 1st International Bank and Trust is .55% for 13 months. It is her recommendation to take the CD out and put it into a money market until interest rises. At that time, it would be put back into a CD. Shereen made a motion to move the money from the CD into a money market account at Bremer. Trampes seconded the motion. Discussion was held. Motion passed.

Trampes made a motion to adjourn the meeting, Gretchen seconded. Meeting adjourned.

Respectfully submitted,
Gretchen Campbell
